In-service trainings for teachers of German and other languages 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Method trainings German and Business German. Didactics and Methods of use of new media in teaching languages: E-Learning, Blended learning, Web 2.0, Moodle & Mahara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    (5 days in-service training): Course fee 590 EUR<\/strong>

    You can cover the costs of the course with a grant from Erasmus+:<\/em>
    You will get a benefit of 400 EUR for the course price + 100 EUR organisational grant + a flat charge for individual costs (140 – 180 EUR\/course day + 1 day arrival + 1 day departure) + a flat charge for travel expenses<\/em> (180 – 610 EUR by 100 – 3900km distance)<\/td><\/tr>

    This course is particularly suitable for teachers who (would like to) teach vocational German or whose learners are interested in working in Germany.

    14.08. \u2013 18.08.2023<\/td>Creative Teaching of German as a Foreign and Second Language: Interactive Methods<\/strong>
    This training offers practical handouts and workshops on creative lesson planning online and offline as well as on methods of action-oriented work and gives tips for short-term lesson planning. Various topics are covered with suggestions for playful 4. implementations of grammar teaching with examples of how digital technologies can be used to implement one’s own teaching material in the areas of listening comprehension and\/or video creation, as well as ideas for gamification in the classroom and activation through creative writing.

    Presentation of a free learning platform using Moodle as an example and other modular supplements with Web 2.0 applications for building up Internet-supported forms of teaching and learning.

    07.08. \u2013 11.08.2023<\/td>Discovering Germany culturally: Ideas for virtual cultural learning<\/strong>
    What is actually typically German? How is German culture defined? In this training, participants experience German and D\u00fcsseldorf culture first-hand in workshops at the training centre as well as on excursions and outdoor experiences in the city. In a second step, the findings are processed virtually.

    31.07. \u2013 04.08.2023<\/td>Intensive Training German: Communication<\/strong>
    This training includes topics from the German as a Foreign Language courses at C1 and C2 level. During the 5 days, we will mainly deal with the topic of communication: e.g. “Sender-receiver model” by Shannon & Weaver, the “four ears model” by Friedemann Schulz von Thun and the “four steps concept” of non-violent communication according to Marshall B. Rosenberg, questioning techniques, argumentation and communication tools.

    28.08. \u2013 01.09.2023<\/td>Teaching method kit: Topics from learning guidance<\/strong>
    In this training course, we will address the question of how learning can be supported. Which didactics, which methods and which other influences favour learning? Workshops on current methodological approaches and strategies in teaching and training against the background of various learning theories.

     <\/td>    		Digital ideas for teaching: presence, online or hybrid<\/strong>
    The speed of progress of digital teaching possibilities makes it increasingly difficult to keep track of the sense and possibilities of using tools and apps in foreign language teaching. In this in-service training, current insights into digital teaching are conveyed. Participating teachers will learn everything about the digital classroom and develop strategies for using it in their own lessons.

    31.07. \u2013 11.08.2023<\/td>Training Summer 2 weeks: Intensive training in German AND discovering Germany culturally: Ideas for virtual cultural learning<\/strong>
    This training summer is suitable for all colleagues who would like to spend 2 weeks intensively learning about Germany and its language. In our communication training, our participants benefit from a supportive communicative exchange in German and can expand and refresh their language skills. In the second week, our focus is on Germany, its culture, architecture and society. What they have experienced and learned will be reviewed virtually again and again, so that the participants can take away exciting ideas for their lessons. You can’t get more German than this!

    14.08. – 25.08.2023<\/td>In-service training summer 2 weeks: Creative German teaching: German as a foreign language: interactive methods AND digital ideas for teaching.
    The participants will spend 2 weeks intensively working on teaching methods for face-to-face, hybrid and online teaching. We teach how to use German comedy to train listening comprehension, for example, but also everything about the topic of the “digital classroom”.
